What we collect
- Your name and mobile number, which you give us when you create an account.
- Your password, stored only as a hash — we cannot read it, and neither can anyone who reaches the database.
- Delivery addresses you save, and the orders you place.
- An email address, but only if you choose to add one later from your profile.
Why we collect it
To take your order, deliver it, and talk to you about it. Your mobile number does double duty: it is your sign-in and it is how the courier reaches you.
We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone who is not delivering your order or processing your payment.
Verifying your email
If you add an email address, we send a link to it and only save the address once you follow that link. Until then it sits pending and cannot be used to sign in.
That is deliberate: an unverified address is one a typo could hand to someone else, and an address you can sign in with has to be one you own.
How long we keep it
Order records stay with us as long as accounting and tax rules require, because a delivered order is a transaction we have to be able to account for.
Ask us to close your account and we will remove what we are not obliged to keep.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. The one that holds your session is marked httpOnly, so scripts in the page cannot read it.
We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
- See and correct your details from your profile at any time.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Ask us to delete your account.
- Write to privacy@bikiron.com and we will answer within a few working days.
